With over 45 years of professional expertise, he comprehensively supported small and medium-sized enterprises and groups of companies, family-run businesses, as well as high-net-worth individuals, as a tax consultant and quality control auditor – with an unwavering focus on strategic interests and matters of business development.

Specialist in succession law and successorship

Over the years practicing, he furthermore built on his broad qualifications as a legal advisor, certified executor, and expert advisor on corporate succession. What could be better proof of this expertise than the successful handover of the partnership company to the next generation?

In 2019, Hans-Günter Jakob gave up his management position as a partner at Jakob & Sozien, to dedicate more time as a reputable expert to accompanying corporate succession processes and inheritance (tax) law issues, also continuing to fulfil his duties as a certified executor. His clients benefit from his unique cross-disciplinary qualifications in legal, tax, and economic matters.

Voluntary commitment

During his highly active years as a professional, Hans-Günter Jakob continuously committed himself to volunteer activities as well, being awarded the Federal Medal of Merit from the Federal President. To name just one of many examples: Over 45 years, Mr Jakob was the financial director of a large cultural and sports association in Northern Hesse, for which he currently still serves as an ethics officer.

As a real athlete, Hans-Günter Jakob always managed to find some time to get active, as a golfer, cyclist, and skier. He did so with the same tenacity and enthusiasm that set him apart as a professional.
